World Vision Canada wanted to examine how the workplace could support a new leadership style and rethink how staff work. The leadership team were strategically relocated to be centrally located to allow easy access to teams and to open lines of communication. Additional shared space was created to accommodate a wide selection of meeting areas and open collaborative spaces – by reducing individual workplace sizes across functions.
To reinforce this culture of open and transparent communication, we modified existing workstations, reducing the height of panels in the open plan and installed glazed facades for all office and closed meeting areas. The new planning strategy transforms this office environment into a shared space aligned with WVC’s philosophy. One further strengthened with custom printed, inspirational images throughout the office to engender a sense of pride and common purpose.
